That's what happens when enough people vote for a party with no platform and ridiculous slogans.

What could be more democratic than throwing an entire election into chaos because you don't like who's poised to win it?

I was scrolling through my twitter feed and saw this, freaked me out this morning, as it looks like it came straight out of that scene in IT the movie.

Midnight session too...

How inhumane (although I know it’s due to the event on Tuesday)

The best part from last night, Sam Oosterhoff played the role of a legislative page since there was none last night. HAHAHAHAHA

The PCs are a shameful bunch. But I especially am upset at the Northern Ontario ones. (Vic Fedeli, Greg Rickford, Ross Romano who are all in the above photo) I fear what they have planned for us.

Surely 13 local elected officials for all of Northern Ontario is enough, right?

Oh, it's not the number of officials. It's the gutting they plan. So much of what was going on up here is on pause because the ministers are "reviewing" things. I have a feeling that fewer things will be unpaused in the north than in the south, once things have been "reviewed".

The Harris Tories lost significant ground in Toronto in 1999 but still won a majority government. I guess the Ford "brain trust" (if there is one at all) thinks this can be repeated.

There are 12 in Northern Ontario. (Parry Sound - Muskoka is not Northern Ontario and also, much of Nipissing is in Southern Ontario except North Bay)

The problem is that the three ridings that voted PC (Nipissing, Sault Ste Marie and Kenora) will be okay but the 9 others will be severely punished.

Northern Ontario 2018 election results:

NDP: 8
PC: 3
LIB: 1

As for the three Northern Ontario PC MPPs, Vic Fedeli is the only one with solid support and it is mainly because he is a former North Bay mayor. Ross Romano won the Sault by less than 500 votes. Greg Rickford got almost half of the votes but the NDP candidate was very weak and don't forget that Rickford was badly defeated in the 2015 federal election even though he was a cabinet minister!
