On wikipedia there's a entry for 'Most Expensive Street's by City',
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...treets_by_city
It's probably going to be deleted as it has no sources and no explanation of what 'most expensive street' really means. But I thought the idea was interesting. I'm wondering what the most expensive street in Calgary might be, and what criteria might be used to determine such. Some possibilities:
- lot value (problem: most expensive would likely not be a residential street, whereas the aim here is for residential)
- lot or sq footage value of the entire street (problem: long streets would win out here easily)
- lot or living space sq footage value on a per km basis (problem: if the full street length is 25% condo and 75% open field, even if the 25% is the most expensive area in the city, the low value rest of it will average it out).
Thoughts?
