^ Nice, but imagine actually trying to drive that fast in those conditions.

The pink, the Rose of England shows
The green, St. Patrick's emblem, bright
While, in between, the spotless sheen
Of Andrew's Cross displays the white

What'er betide our Ocean Bride
That nestles 'midst Atlantic's foam
Still far and wide, we'll raise with pride
Our native flag, o'er hearth and home

Then hail; the pink, the white, the green
Our patriot flag, long may it stand
Our sirelands twine, their emblems trine
To form the flag of Newfoundland

Hey Ryan, you should teach me how to use my (not overly impressive) camera sometime. It's more than a point and click, but it's nothing special. I've never really learned how to properly use it, and I think that I could take higher quality (and share-worthy) photos if I knew how.

Nice photos today, the one from the hill with the fence is nicely composed.

Had a random urge to snap a picture of New Gower street as I left City Hall today. You can see 351 Water Street being finished up on the left hand side, and Fortis Place under construction in the distance on the right.

It looks beautiful. Now, if only we could get rid of, oh, everything in the foreground. City Hall I can tolerate for another generation... it's the ugliest city hall in Canada, but at least it has a style. That pedway and the building across the street it connects to are just cheap nothingness. They HAVE to go ASAP.

Today is a perfect day to demonstrate why we paint our city such vibrant colours...

Because this is a colour photo as well, of the grey that completely surrounds us today...

A video of the rough seas today.

^ Great video.

For the night shots, the streetlights always come out seemingly yellow; have you tried adjusting the camera's incandescent/tungsten white balance to see if it might look more neutral? I always used to do something like that in post processing, but haven't taken night shots for awhile now.

I've tried tinkering with it a little but... they look so yellow in real life too, ha! I don't want to change them too much and make it dishonest.

Here, I tweaked one of them for comparison without doing much, I'm not sure if it looks better though. There may however be more advanced filters in photoshop, which I no longer have. Hope you don't mind, and no one can see the image except here on this page.
