I hope they plan to put some sort of black metal cladding on those balconies, and paint the undersides a darker color. The white banding effect kind of ruins the overall design of this tower.

Very fast indeed. It was only 6 months ago it went above street level... Of course it helps that it's a simple box with no setbacks or strange shapes needed to be built.

I like the view from these two shots.

Xcondo looks alot like an office building. Reminds me of the TD tower in Toronto

hmm.... not sure those are recent shots of X condo but yeah... the black finish on the building makes it look alot like the TD building...

I took a shot yesterday of X condo but IT WAS THE LAST DAY OF SUMMER and IT RAINED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SEPTEMBER so I was out of luck for taking pictures...

I remember visiting T.O. when I was a kid, and I remember the Bay and CIBC buildings and a couple of others stood out completely on their own, almost far away from the main downtown...now, this building and everything else going up around it is closing that gap...

Amazing how fast the north end of the downtown is expanding/rising...

Yeah.. It is quite amazing (even though I wasn't alive when it was like that )...

But yeah... There are mini clusters of skyscrapers emerging such as the Yorkville/Uptown-downtown skyline, the Bay/College skyline, etc...

It's nice to see these gaps being filled (especially the areas between the CBD and the rest of the skyline)...
