Not a particularly detailed picture, but I found myself with a great view of part of the city from the Starlight Room on top of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel, and these were quite visible.

Basically complete except for finishing touches and the lobby, which is still open and exposed:

A new press release says the first residents are moving in:

Quote:
Tower Two at One Rincon Hill Welcomes Its First Residents; 25 Percent of Residences Already Pre-Leased

SAN FRANCISCO–The iconic Tower Two at One Rincon Hill (TTORH) sets another high mark, achieving a 25 percent pre-leased milestone, as the first residents settle into the 49-story, 298-unit luxury building located at the apex of San Francisco’s Rincon Hill. The building is available now for immediate occupancy and first move-ins are expected to continue through the beginning of 2015.

Nothing new to see, just a context shot now that it's complete:

^The towers look best from that vantage. I like 'em!

^That corner looks so much better now. Hated looking at that dirt the past few years.

Me too. They look so tall and slim from that angle compared to the view from the west.

I also love the side views, but am disappointed with my view of them or looking at the two towers anywhere from the west. Am I the only one who feels that SKB missed the mark and that the two siblings don't look that good together when viewed from their broadsides, particularly from the west?

I don't like the air cleaner grill sides of the buildings much either. I keep finding myself wanting to redesign those sides of the buildings with something that looks better, or have them removed or modified in some way. They look too much like cheap giant white plastic ventilation grills to me. It is just not an attractive look for a skyscraper facade. The rest of these buildings look great though.

I have overheard similar negative comments by other architects, and a tour guide talking to visitors up on Twin Peaks. But actually overall, I like these towers more than I don't.
