So many desktop worthy pictures in this thread... BTW, the city looks good with red and purple in the sky... we need a few more red and purple buildings.

wow, neon.

also, how recent are these pictures? looks to me like there is still alot of undeveloped lots.

Who is waiting on eagerly SE falsecreek development?

Edit - and can we constantly update the first post with all the pictures, as to avoid what this thread was orignally designed to avoid? don't want pictures getting lost int he thread or posted twice.

^Downtown should look real good from that angle once the Shangri-La and 1153 W Georgia are up. I'm sure the view would be good for Woodwards, Capitol, and YMCA Tower as well.

Here are some more random pics. I'm sure there's a couple here you might remember having seen floating around on the forum...

Here are just a few pictures of Vancouver I took in the fall of 2005 when I was staying there for a couple of weeks. Such a beautiful city!

Alright - though all of us have seen every angle of Vancouver a million times, it's still great to look at...and a great thread.

So, I'll add to it from some of my photos over the 2 years in Van...

From the pool of my "home" in Van :-)

oh my gosh, some of these pictures are so beautiful that it hurts...You Canada have such beautiful places. I especially love how the mountains are so closed to the ocean, are they actually so close or it's a kind of a mirage?
