I'm amazed at how Hamilton appears to be nothing like Buffalo despite their proximity.

I'm glad that you reposted this. I remember being up along the edge of the Escarpment and Concession Street was something that I remember only vaguely.

Interesting neighborhood. I like it. Kind of wished I'd spent more time on the mountain when I visited the city quite a few years ago with the wife. But as you can see I was somewhat directionally challenged:

A rare visitor to Hamilton, nice photo! I think you're pointing north or east or something. I never could get used to the lake being north of the city (that's backwards for Canadians).
The mountain is quite a bit less distinctive than the lower city, best to enjoy the view and then head back down.
