Spoke w/one of the workers who said the second tower crane will be installed shortly (?) immediately to the north of the just installed tower crane.

Love this shot... Tower crane being erected and caisson liner going down for 150 N. Riverside.

What we see is what we get (10/22/14).....

There will be one tower crane from what I was told. I will be checking with another source. They want to begin with the steel erection by January.

Climbing Crane - there will be a second collar, one anchors inside the elevator shaft while the other raises up - same kind as used on 150 N Wacker.

The placement of this one tower crane right in the middle would seem to suggest that there will only be the one. Kind of a shame as I was hoping for 2 cranes - more eye catching.

That's odd. The official video for this building by Hines had River Point be constructed by two cranes.

The crane is offset to one side of the core. Is it possible that they are installing this one first and will use it to lift a second crane into place using this one.

The inside of the forms is covered in Teflon - to make it as easy as possible to pull the form off after the concrete has set.
