Awesome, I didn't know anything with the Murphy site was in progress. Looks like a decent addition that is similar to what was built over by Milwaukie Marketplace. It also looks like it will look fairly similar to the site next to it that is about to start redevelopment as well. Overall, that will be a lot of new residential units added to Milwaukie.
The food cart pod on Scott St looks better than expected, though I do worry this will hurt the one on the south end. Milwaukie isn't that big, but this could definitely help the activity on the north end of downtown.
Also to add to this, Coho Point on the south end of downtown across from the Axeltree Apartments is beginning site work. I don't know when demolition of the existing building will happen, but I would guess sometime this year, probably this summer. I know I did hear from the mayor that construction of the new building could begin as early as this fall.
Also, the Main Street Collectors buildings are for sale and in the listing it sounded like the focus was that they would be torn down and used as a redevelopment site for something larger. I wouldn't be surprised if those building aren't in the best shape and probably aren't that profitable in their present form.
