37 Hours in Denver

I recently made a quick trip to Denver. I was surprised at how much character the city had and from my short stay I have to say it is now one of my favorite cities. There was no shortage of fit girls, excellent views, and tons of places to hike, ride, etc. The only catch was the altitude which left me winded after climbing some stairs. I wish I could have seen more of the city, but enjoy my less than thorough tour of Denver.

18th and Washington? I use to live one street over on 18th and Clarkson. The memories, or what I could remember from living in Uptown Denver. We could get amazing 180 views of downtown Denver from the roof of our building from there.

Nice pics.

Nice! Denver is definitely one of my favorite cities; I fell in love last summer during a short visit, and may be moving out that way in a few years.
The altitude is a bit disconcerting at first, but most people get acclimated within 2 weeks time. In fact, after coming back down from a short trip up to the top of Pikes Peak or Mt. Evans(14,000+ feet), the 5000+ ft. elevations feel great!

Where are these fit girls you speak of? You seem to have forgotten to create photographic documentation of this phenomenon.

The night stuff reminds me of the ambiance of walking around after a few drinks at night, nice landscape shots, too.

I did the trail from the south side of the mountain. It starts at W. Alameda Pkwy.

Thanks for the comments!

While atop Green Mountain, did you remember seeing the giant 'golf balls' of the radar dishes of Buckley Airforce Base?
