Panorama of South End Halifax. This part of town doesn't get featured much in skyline photos because it's less visible from the water, up a bit of a hill and behind the downtown office buildings. It used to be a quiet neighbourhood of Victorian-era houses, parks, and the odd old apartment building or 1970's slab tower, but it is becoming more and more built up. The brick building with 4 wings is the Bethune Building, which is one of the few pre-war highrises in the city (and region). The Dalhousie campus is off to the far right; it used to seem pretty disconnected but it's becoming more and more like an appendage of the downtown area, a bit like U of T.

More MNP Tower from today. These are taken through a tinted green window and I did my best to fix it in post. Looking great as does the Cordova urban canyon.

(Sorry for the lame enhancement on that last one - the sky was a flat white and kind of hard on the eyes)

Neighbouring condo tower is Three Harbour Green (2012) with 32 floors and the total height of 116 meters. One of the most expensive addresses in the city of Vancouver.

I thought this was a nice photo of the nearly-complete TD Building in Halifax. It goes well with the older buildings nearby. The clearer glass also makes it look a lot livelier than the old mirror-like facade.

This aerial photo is nice too (too bad it's so small):

Shaw Tower (2005) is a nice layered 149-meter and 42 floor tower with office space on the bottom and condos on top.

Stantec Tower in Edmonton might look like Shaw Tower when it is built.
