Wow, after seeing all these pictures, it's seems clear to me that this particular part of Vietnam has come a long way.

Happy to see the economic rise, a bit puzzled by the design. Nevertheless, Go Hanoi!

wow, it is sad to me that any city on the earth nowadays can build a tower above a thousand feet even if there is no economic liability or purpose whatsoever. look around the view of the towers. absolutely nothing.

That's a monster of a tower. How wide is it on the long side?

this your answer
It is ranked 11th in the world for usable floorspace out of ANY building (including airport terminals, convention centres, etc). 6.4 million square feet in ONE building, making it the 5th largest usable floorspace contained in a singe building.

i love this tower. such a monster, and holy cow! 6.4 million sq feet! i wouldn't be surprised if this thing is 250 ft wide (give or take 10 ft)

the only thing that bothers me about these new developments is that they're making the podium mistake. completely out of scale, just a random box that holds a mall. to me it seems like they'll have issues with that in the future if they keep it up. they have the perfect opportunity to create extremely dense areas with 'great' parks connecting neighborhoods. instead these new developments isolate themselves from human scale at street level. of course it's not only the developers fault, governments should have restrictions and regulate.
