Yeah, the crane is fully installed now. This project is officially under construction.

BTW this is just a general note about Embassy Suites/ Hilton hotels... they have really been trending towards new CBD locations lately.

Opening 2010 will be downtown hotels in San Antonio, Louisville, St. Louis, and Denver.

Later (likely 2011) will be downtown Miami, Memphis, Houston and Dallas.

This is definitely a good trend... it's showing that there's renewed interest in downtown businesses nationwide, in spite of this staggering Recession.

Crane photo from street level

Here is the crane that has not moved since it was put together. There is more construction inside of the hole but I did not get any photos since I was just passing by.

I dont think it will be all that tall, maybe around 260 or so. I havent seen any official heights for this building though, Im sure someone will come along that will know, I hope.
