LOL, you jumped in this conversation late, I didn't even comment or quote anything you said. Too funny. I was having a conversation with Acajack and it was already cleared up. BTW, as it turns out they use a combination of both in Nova Scotia. I was only going by information I found listed on a Government website but these two examples only took me 30 seconds to find right now.

The epic 6 Avenue Canyon, 4 kilometers straight of 100+ meter towers, peaking at 247 meters.

Check your post #1150. You quoted my post #1148 and commented on it.

Okay, 3 km straight. Sorry for the mistake, but still really impressive for a Canadian canyon. Don't know why I was remembering 4 km.

I still haven't quite adjusted to seeing this view down West Hastings in downtown Vancouver punctuated by the new MNP Tower, in addition to the Marine Building.

This zoomed in shot is fuzzy but it shows how downtown Halifax has a fairly consistent scale with many blocks without holes that mostly have midrise or highrise buildings.

Prince Street runs down the middle from the Citadel to the harbour. Around 2010 it had some major holes but now it's consistently built up. It would take 2 buildings or so each to do the same thing down the parallel streets (Sackville and George), then that would be an area of ~36 (small) blocks in decent shape.
