I was in high school when the Olympics were here, but remember things pretty well. After the Olympics, the people in the city had a different attitude. My parents are a great example. We moved here from Toronto in 1985 when I was in grade 8, and I always remember my parents reminiscing about Toronto, and a couples times remember my dad calling Calgary a 'one horse town'.

After the Olympics their to Calgary attitude changed, especially my for my dad. It wasn't just my dad, I saw the change in other people also. Calgary became a 'proud' city from that point on.
