Thanks, Joe! I've actually been over here before under a different user name, just not with a thread as organized as this one will be. As you saw over on SSC, this thread will be categorized with mainly my best stuff, short, comprehensive, and with more impact.

Houston should not be underrated either. Whenever you think you are ready, you should do a thread of what you think is all your best stuff.

That was during the 80s boom! This most recent boom was the result of a lot of speculative greed! It was more speculative greed than I would have ever imagined could exist in one place.

Thanks! I've got to get up there again on a sunny day. As you can tell, it was a bit cloudy that day.

Ah, these are great. And I liked that you noted what we're looking at. Very interesting. I've never been down there before, but perhaps I will sometime.

I think that is because we went with the tropical model for a skyline and this is the way a lot of skylines near the tropics look these days.

Thanks, but the beaches are coming.

Thanks! The idea this time was to use fewer shots, only the best shots, but to go into detail about them.

Looks incredible! Reminds a bit of Dubai, but has much more water and looks more "genuine".
