I second Bronxwood's motion. Come back when the city is fully alive! You don't know New York until you walk the streets at noon on a non-holiday weekday. And if you can wait until early next year, all of those annoying metal panels and tarps will finally be off of the Brooklyn Bridge (four-year-long refitting, repainting and repair).

I ought to punch you in the dick for posting this so soon after I posted my thread. You bastard!!!

Great thread. I can feel your excitement in this set. I just remembered I have an old homie from Katy that lives in NYC now. I wished I would have remembered. You probably could have crashed with him.

It's a cliche but it can never be stressed enough. NYC is one of the greatest cities in the history of this planet. This thread has greatness written all over it.

Yes, NYC is the capital of the fucking world, no doubt about it. Its the greatest city in all of mankinds history, even greater than Rome at its height. It is Rome, the capital of this planets civilization. While Rome was the center of the once great Roman Empire, New York City is now the capital of Earth, greater than anything ancient Rome could have ever dreamed to be.

Fo shizzle dawg. Unless a short layover to Nova Scotia back in 2004 in Newark counts, yeah.

I had to check it out again. It was good. I still feel like it needs an obligatory slice of pizza shot.

Yes, New York is the great Rome of the modern world! Ancients could have never have conceived of anything like it. This might surprise a lot of people, but this is my favorite pic of the thread.

You forgot about Lubbock, TX.

These are some really great pics, with interesting perspectives. Love the SoHo rooftops.

Though come back again when New Yorkers are in town (Memorial Day and Labor Day are the two emptiest weekends of the year), and don't forget the Outer Boroughs!
