Kaisertown is a neighborhood in southeast Buffalo. The neighborhood is bounded by I-190 to the north and west, the Buffalo city limits at Cochrane Street to the east, and the Buffalo River to the south. The main artery in Kaisertown is Clinton Street.
Kaisertown was primarily a German neighborhood, but also saw an influx of Polish residents in the southwest corner of the neighborhood, beginning in the 1890s. An exclave of Hungarian residents was also in the neighborhood, although most lived in the northwest part of the city in Riverside.
