The first diagonal brace has appeared on the western side of the building -

Yes! That's the side I see most often from the train and those braces make such a positive difference in the look.

I was wondering the same. It looks like it sticks out too far to be part of the lantern, but there doesn't seem to be too much construction purpose for it either. I forget where the elevators were supposed to be, so maybe there?

^^^Interesting glass. Depending on the lighting conditions and time of day I've seen it appear dark gray or pale blue or light gray or deep blue.
