You know, it's your thing. Who am I to tell/ask you what to do? So how about making the bridges across the water in 3-D? And the river recessed in elevation? And here's a suggestion... start with the tallest exhisting building (already built) and give it its texture, then work down in height. Then get to the U/C & proposed buildings.
The bridges/river are a while from being implemented, there's a lot of work that has to be done before that can be done. However, I was working on the textures today. I'm working from the top down, regardless of whether the building is built or u/c. First pics of the new buildings will be posted tomorrow.
I think you refering to the ground layer that hasn't been sidewalked over yet. It's basically a huge plane covered with a low resolution aerial photo, which looks good as the horizon, but so-so close up. It'll be gone eventually.

I was in Miami over the weekend. It's amazing how much is going up there. But then again it's amazing how much seems to be going up in Chicago.
