P.S. the communal strata car is a new Ferrari California
I know Modo has been making a push to get their vehicles in new condo developments...you think they might follow the precedent and put a Ferrari California in, say, Vancouver's Turn

The concept is nothing new. The Stella condo building on Kingsway was giving away a free Honda Fit with every purchase, and I believe the Paramount on Burrard has a communal car as well, granted not a Ferrari though.
At the prices that HG3 is charging, a Ferrari or a Bentley should be a house warming gift along with a Boat.

The Grace has a Rolls Phantom as a communal car. None of the high-end buildings operate like Modo or Zipcar though.

Living in Toronto I'm very used to seeing buildings with this color of glass. But I've gotta say, a curtain wall can make even green glass look good.

With the crown pretty much complete now, this is really quite an attractive tower when viewed from the Stanley Park seawall. That deep green harmonizes and yet also stands out in a good way. It's chic, simple, elegant.

An update by FrederickOcean on skyscrapercity:

This is one bad ass looking crown... the way it should be done, unlike the little prow on the Georgia, where most of it is actually lower than the mech penthouse. No other residential building in Vancouver has such a clean expression at the top, like with this building. The only other contender is Carina.

We'll have to rename this building to the money building now. (taking a quote from Joe Peshi).

Apparently Donald Trum Junior purchased a unit here...wondering where in the building. Prices start at 1.5 mill and up.

But you get to drive a communal Ferrari.....oooh that's sure to attract the girls...this pad can be Vancouver's version of the playboy mansion!

where are these $1.5 mil units??? Given price points start around $2500/square foot and the smallest unit in the tower is 2000 square feet...

The cheapest unit was $1.9M for an 1,800 sq ft townhome.

The project is just over 50% sold and occupancy is slated for April 2012.

That's a ton of spandrel =( I'm sure it's a last-minute envelope treatment to minimize solar gain.

Massing is also kinda messed up.... unlike the north side, which is quite well resolved, I never quite understood the rationale for the south side. It looks needlessly fussy.
