These are more scenic than useful but one's from the top of the hill and the other is from the South Jetty in Bedford;

Oh and just a heads up to anyone visiting the site, use caution on the upper road. I have been through the area four times now and I've seen three seperate occassions of deer crossing the road.

Took my video camera down there today and had already thought to myself about checking the battery. Didn't check it. Camera didn't even turn on. Second floor looks to be finished and the third floor is being framed.
There was also a large mobile crane at the Canada Food Agency site on Agency Dr. nearby. I don't think anything new is developing behind them so I assumed it was just for a new Heating/Cooling system.

Good to see I might of inspried some people.

Just make sure you don't focus to hard on the video or else you might walk into one of the deer ... sadly I'm not joking those animals are way too tame for living in the woods ... luckily they are smarter than local drivers so they don't get all that often (except on Magazine Hill).

One thing I am wondering about is the parking for the building. I didn't see anything shown in the renderings and if it truly is on the third floor than it means there will be no underground structure. I really hope they don't pave all of the land in back of the building. Or at least if they do make it big enough to close the parking lot on top of the cliff (its usually empty anyways).

The land behind the building looks like it might be groomed for surface parking. It would be a small lot though so I guess we will wait and see what they do. The Overflow parking was full yesterday.

That is wild! It looks like a scene from the Marineland near Niagara Falls, Ontario that has a deer petting pin. Will they take food from your hand?

^Don't know haven't tried that in Halifax yet. The last time I tried to feed deer food out of my hand (in Marineland of all places) one of them got smart and put the entire backside of my t-shirt in its mouth.

I saw a lady stading right next to them a couple of weeks ago taking some close-up shots.

Yes, the dear in the area will take food from peoples hands. I know someone who lives in the area and sends me pictures of the deer all the time being fed.

It is right to assume that hunting deer isn't permitted in the HRM urban area. I hope so, for the sake of these deer.

Nah, the deer are fine - it is the people who need to watch their back...

Yes, it seems as though people are being shot at unusually high numbers in the Halifax area. Probably the deer are safer than people, as you pointed out.
