Wink mSeattle's "TACOMA 2006"

I'm a bit crazy right now... for staying up all night and putting this together.

*I got down the street to visit to The City of Destiny a few times during spring and summer as you can see. I regret not being able to make during autumn but maybe07 will allow that.

A great collection. I always enjoy photo tours of Tacoma. Next time I'm in the area, I'm making sure I visit.

Thanks. I love visiting and am spoiled to be able to hop a bus for free almost to visit on a whim.

What an accurate picture of Tacoma as it really is...beautiful, filling in, and with lots of opportunity left to be captured. (that's marketing speak for tons of vacant lots remaining)

Whoa, great collection! I've got to get Neko Case on the phonograph to make good on more Tacomamania. Welcome back from New Jersey B007.

Some nice cuts! Glad to see Tacoma scrambling to reinvent itself--and glad that at least one person here is willing to show it a little love.

I love Stadium High School...did you have a chance to take a gander? Nice pics....years ago I lived in a very small, wooden, apartment building across the street from the Rialto. Thanks...

I like this one. I never knew Tacoma got LRT before Seattle or even had a system.

Anton: Thanks. Tacoma's a good lover too and reinvinting nicely with some fumbles and migrants from up north and elsewhere.

PacificNW: Stadium High is just gorgeous. Didn't get on site in '06 cause of the construction but will do next op. That Tacoma built and kept such a thing (hotel to high school) is one cause for my love for the place. I think an old wood apartment building still stands across from Rialto. I've got a picture of it somewhere.

Hood: Tremendous thank you to you. You've got a great spot there. How are the views? Can I swing by with the camera?

Western: Thank. Yes. It's part of the three county organization called "Sound Transit". I think Tacoma was an easy testing site for some LRT action to connect to the commuter trains that go up to that other city up north.
