Looks like the Brooklyn Heights Promenade (that's the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in the background). Some of the best views in the city can be had from it.

i was just from nyc, and man you have sent my photo taking skills back to the drawing board. excellent shots.

i was wondering, i just got back from top of the rock w/my dslr (like you), and is there no way to make a "noise free" shot without moving it from RAW?

They're filming the movie version. I'm assuming he stumbled across the set. I'm not sure why I know this since it's not my thing, but I somehow thought it was common knowledge.
