Downtown Bettendorf is almost completely dominated by the Isle of Capri Casino and their recently constructed Waterfront Convention Center (run by the casino).
Between the two hotel towers that make up Isle of Capri's complex, this is the largest hotel in Iowa. Not much to look at though.
Here's a photo taken just after construction finished on Bettendorf's Waterfront Convention Center. It is closer to downtown Bettendorf than the rest of the casino complex, but it is connected via skywalk.
As far as Davenport and Moline, where are all the new buildings in the above posts? I like historic restoration as much as the next guy (more, probably) but it seems like a big part of our recent downtown progress is being left out in this thread. I'll try to gather up some images of buildings built in the last decade.
