Looks Hospitally. And extremely 2010ish (reminds me of the student residences at UWO that went up around the same time). good for infill.

Drewlo has removed the tower crane from the 3rd tower behind the Farm Boy on Wonderland.

Could they be prepping to start on this project on Talbot? Any activity?

Looks like Drewlo is raising a tower crane for another building behind the Lowes. Guess that means the Talbot building will likely wait until 2020.

Lot has been cleared of trees and there are piles of wood shredding. Would imagine Drewlo will start this after the building behind Rona on Blythwood is completed. They are on the 6th floor now and i suspect half way done.

for the size of London, this development is a complete waste of space. It won't make our skyline look any better. Can Drewlo build anything with a good height?

I disagree.

There is a time and place for everything and developers should not be concerned about improving a city's skyline but rather enhancing the neighbourhood. This is a good height for the area adding density without being imposing or sticking out like a sore thumb.

I agree after you say that.

York has already been suggested (or told, not sure which) to scale back their development a couple blocks from this one, and it was quite a bit larger. Drewlo probably would have been told the same.

16s is a shorter building then what could be there but they are making up for it with the L shaped floor plan to add additional units.

Excavator and bulldozer onsite clearing out tree stumps today. Not sure if they have filed site plan and got final city hall approvals. If so they could start soon with excavation for underground parking levels and foundation soon. The tower behind Rona is nearly done the 7th floor. At their pace to finish 5 more floors assuming it will be a 12 storey is likely 3 more months.

Drilling auger machine is now parked on site. Sign up for HCM foundations on fencing. This is supposed to have two levels of underground parking so they will need to excavate the lot and install caisson pilings.

Looks like they started today with the caisson piling drilling for the foundation on this project.

Have started digging and hauling away soil now. Appears to be very sandy. Would make some beaches look good.
