* The hot buffet is great and reasonable BTW.
The Yaletown location is jammed. I think it just needs a critical mass of people living within about 500m and it will get busy. I don't think that exists in OV though, not by a long shot.

That explains why this location has been on GROUPON the past few months with their 50% off retail. They must be desperate for business.

.
Not for AVALON milk. They are pricey but they sell like hotcakes everywhere.

^ Agreed, that is the going price for that brand of milk, no matter where you buy it (or have it delivered).

Thanks for the info.
Could be the same for OV, but there aren't many prepared food alternatives around OV are there?

Urban Fare has also started 2 for 1 coupons that are sent to area residents (via Canada Post)

Thank you for your inquiry.

Unfortunately at this time we have no confirmation of when this location will open, and with the current retail recession it may be a while.

I apologize for any inconvenience.

so lets keep our fingers crossed! I imagine the Subway will be a while (summer) also as they have not started to work on that unit yet.

urban fare restaurants serve alcohol so that works in their favour - they just don't seem to advertise that you can get beer or wine with your food in the restaurant

if you use the savings card the prices aren't too bad for staples, the high end stuff which is a majority of their stuff is priced competitive with whole foods and meinhardts

Thank you. In fact I'm back until August. I'm doing a planning internship over the summer as part of my masters program.

Totally agree! I was walking by yesterday and the paint color is even worse looking in person. Otherwise it's the best looking building in the area
