I had wondered about some of the top windows - its clear to me now that they are strictly decorative and hide mechanical features on parts of those floors. The exterior lights will be bright there with no one to disturb inside. In this sense at least a decorative top if not 'crown.'

Though they could still adjust the lighting a little its basically going to be this:

Last few pieces standing by at the 78. Also, I noticed(and you can see in the photo) that they have a little guardhouse there at the site. Hard to believe that it wasn't long ago this site was a tent city, and then before that it was just industrial land.

Yep, definitely the best shot I've seen of OBP yet, and having NBC tower there complimenting it and not outshining it(in my humble opinion) makes me want one or two more.

Great shot ungerdog. Hate it or love it, you have to hand it to them. This turned out precisely as the renderings depicted it.

I think this turned out good. It's silhouette is pretty nice.

I wish they had continued the limestone at least all the way up to the fourth floor. The difference between the limestone on the rooftop/patio thing and the adjacent wall is pretty conspicuous.

I think the idea(and I could be wrong so please correct me if I am) was that as it ages the two will become a more similar color, so as of right now and in the first couple years it'll look a bit off, but the two will blend together soon as OBP weathers.

Edit: I logged into my other computer that I hadn't used in a couple months(laptop), and it appears I made the same account twice, just with slightly different usernames? I'm really becoming the old man who doesn't understand how computers work, aren't I?
