I'm really glad old city has been getting so much attention the last couple years. I was walking around there this morning and was surprised at how much it's changed. It was always a great neighborhood, but a lot of the old buildings were bombed out but now have been restored with lots of different shops taking place of some of the galleries that have moved further north. A lot of the empty lots have been filled in, although there are still plenty available. Just great to see it move towards fulfilling its potential (miss aka music though). I don't get why the Race project is getting push back though; seemed pretty solid to me.

A family member of mine did a corporate service day a few times now. Next time, I'll ask for photos inside. It looks good and does good.

Its been this way for several months now, there is sometimes a couple souls playing around on the plaza side. Maybe they are waiting for spring weather. I wish they'd open up all the lanes on Market St.

They've actually made pretty decent progress. I unfortunately wasn't quick enough to grab a better photo, but literally all they have left to do is pave the road. The sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and public space next to 3701 Market is all finished.

How long is it supposed to take to complete the name carving? The plaques were added already at the base awhile ago.

Gross. I hope a mod deletes your post - or you do the right thing and delete it.

Not sure. But, it does look like work is in progress above to put Drexel's Law School nameplate there.

Fine, I will delete shortly. But, hey, it's lowrise development. You can't actually say there's not been much worse that's been left standing on this site.

Not far. Need more space at this stage of my life as starting a family. Taking the top two floors of the boutique condo going up next to Monk's. In final stages of ironing out the Agreement of Sale. It also has outdoor space and fireplaces, which I've long wanted but could not afford (with what else I wanted and where I wanted to live) when I bought my current place 7 years ago. But it's a beaut. I am sad to leave in some ways. I have now taken my shameless plug down at reparcsyks' request. But if anyone is looking for a nice Rittenhouse condo just featured in Phillymag, feel free to message me...
