I look up at this thing several times a day and have yet to see the crew installing the glass where the lifts used to be. But clearly they have been working on it. It's visibly higher up the building and you can see the cleaner glass:

Nice one p.g. The contrast between the dirty and clean glass is certainly noticable. It should look like a huge saphire block under a clear blue sky once its washed.

Thanks, Rem.

Yesterday, I was able to catch them in action.

We need Dave back with his fancy lenses to get a good shot, but here's the best I could do:

The 24-105L is back:

Note the nearly complete roof; the roof mounted crane must have vanished in my absence:

Dirty glass makes for all sorts of patterns:

Caught in the act:

That's much better. Good having you back, Dave.

They must have taken that down on Friday. I think I would have noticed any other day last week.

Wow this tower looks great. Reminds me of the Bank of America tower here in NY, but without the spire.

Great job with the pictures you two. I still cant get over how lucky we are here to have such a beautiful tower almost complete.

At the rate they're going, it could be even sooner than that. Great shots, Dave. I love how close and crisp you can get.

301 slides it self into the skyline nicely based on both it's design and it's location deeper in downtown. I don't like ORH's skin nearly as much but it sure provides an impact to the city as you approach it on HWY 80 East or West.

^^^No kidding. It seems like they have completely stopped on that one corner. Nothing has changed in several days.

Lot's of uninteresting progress around the base though. They're building the forms for the new curb along Fremont and continue to repack the soil along Mission and Beale. The automobile entrance on Fremont is taking shape now too.

Nice capture Dave

While you were out, did you by chance notice if they had closed up the only space remaining with no glass?
