Glass is up on first floor. Couldn't really see the quality from the skytrain but it looks really similar to sovereign, lots of white spandrel. Maybe someone could grab a picture of it.

This is still a nice development, but I can't help but feel let down about the major height reductions.

The funny thing is this development use to be the most exciting in Burnaby, and Solo was kind of an afterthought, that has now switched for me, after learning the heights of Solo and the reductions of the project.

Apart from being widely spaced apart, and Solo towers look to be nicer from the various construction pics so far.

Funny you should say that, I feel the same way. SoLo always kind of flew under the radar for me, but I'm really liking the height and building design. Nice that Brentwood is having some towers that are getting away from the square floor plates.

Metrotown is building high, which looks great - but the towers are yikes. This and Sovereign is rather brutal.

However Metroplace is excellent, best building in Lower mainland since Woodwards.

So far what I've seen for station square is that phase 1 (site 4) is not great but not offensive appearance wise. Phase 2 (sites 3-2) look a little better. Even though the height has been reduced on the taller of the phase two buildings I find it quite handsome. Again not ground breaking, but a nice addition to the area. Considering its location I really feel that station square should have had the tallest tower in Burnaby,, and that's not just because I'm working on the project. Metrotown is the epicentre of the area and in my mind needs a (the) marquee building in Burnaby especially given its density and location topographically.

At least the most important part of Station Square, the podium, is not covered in spandrel like Sovereign.

is there any issue with bringing my own realtor when buying a pre-sale condo?

It's frowned upon unofficially. Officially the have no issue with them. Your realtor will get a flat fee for bringing you to them. If the realtor is a friend you can get them to split it with you. The reason they don't like it is it's a few grand out of their pockets.
Sometimes you see (vultures) hanging around presale line ups trying to get purchasers to use them as an agent. Those agents are hated by the sales team and usually get kicked off the property.
