NYC: the boro series **BROOKLYN**

My previous recent threads:

4-Boro NYC Megathread (about 100 pics)
*Another* 4-boro NYC megathread (79 pics)
Puerto Rico Moments
Iceland: Land of Green
Greenland: Land of Ice
New York: Above as Below
Haiti: Southern Peninsula Delight
New York: Winter Sun
New York: People and Place
Philly Feel

I wanted to showcase each of the 4 core boroughs of New York, starting with The Bronx, Queens, Manhattan and now finishing with Brooklyn... since many people still visit NYC never really exploring beyond lower Manhattan. Even most New Yorkers never really venture beyond a few of their familiar haunts. But there are countless different worlds beyond waiting to be delved into.

The four core boroughs would each be gigantic cities on their own. Each contains multitudes within, each harboring dozens upon dozens of neighborhoods. Each would be a TOP 5 US city in terms of urbanity and density on a grand scale (with millions of inhabitants each).

Each is a behemoth with heaves of humanity ebbing and flowing throughout.

Here is but a mere sampling of life in the boroughs:

The Bronx
Queens
Manhattan

Excellent photo thread.

Brooklyn remains my favorite borough.

My favorite of the boroughs. Plus, I have family there so I may be a little biased.

All four threads are spectacular.

You really have a knack for candid people shots - everyone seems comfortable letting you take their pic, even that serious-looking fellow leaning out of his window. Great shot!

Aww, no Staten Island? I was actually hoping you'd do that too.

Great pics, by the way!

Maybe in August, if I get some time off from thesis writing.

Thanks!

The crush of humanity that somehow doesn't overwhelm. Brooklyn is beautiful.

Great set of threads.
