^ I'm surprised there's no ground floor retail requirement for that area. I guess a garage is slightly better than a surface lot, but would be detrimental to the pedestrian-friendliness of the area.

I agree! I don't mind the garage, but it would definitely be nice to have retail/restaurant space on the ground floor.

I absolutely love this idea!!!

While I'd like to see a monument to Higgins, I'd love to see something to honor Jean Lafitte for his efforts in defending New Orleans during the Battle of New Orleans.

Lafitte Circle has a nice ring to it.

Some updated renderings of the Four Seasons. Looks like they've made design changes to the new wings at the base of the building.

Interesting... hard to tell exactly whats going on there at the bottom. I do know the fountain and plaza plans are ready to go and its going to be renamed tricentennial plaza.

Also the Four Seasons leased the garage from the city too.. so that means the garage got removed or reduced from the project. so that seems to be the biggest change for the hotel .

Yeah they really should. The Jeff Davis and Broad overpasses are the only ones I can think of.

The beige and "mustard" yellow on the Dave and Busters make the entire building look off. It looks unfinished. I'm not a designer but a darker charcoal gray in those areas would be better with the lighter gray panels.

Overall it's just...really not good. It's sad knowing what the original renderings looked like. But I'll continue to remind myself that at least it's no longer a surface parking lot.

It's a low rise parking garage on the street in NOLA with the most high rises in the entire metro area - with a D&B on top and likely crappy retail on the bottom. I knew it would suck from when they first announced it. But whatevs at least there is other exciting development happening

1100 Annunciation

Yeah that parking garage is stupid compared to the original plans, the yellow is awful and the same goes for the Jung's yellow color scheme. ..

On another note, reached out to the sales manager of 1100 Annunciation which all just hit the market last week. The timeline looks like a fall construction start, although I've been informed the developer may start sooner. I believe only two of the prior people involved for Tracage are still a part of the whole deal. So it actually sounds pretty promising!!

The only thing about the Jung is it's historic so the color scheme may have been dictated by SHpO

The Dave and busters garage could easily add two video screens on the mat large empty area on the corner tower
