Awesome stop-motion shots of Calgary, manipulated to look like a scale model. Really cool:

That angle really shows off Calgary nicely. I will never get tired of photos from there. Thanks

that angle and position make Calgary's skyline seem to go on and on to the north west direction. quite a satisfying illusion and it gives the skyline a nice dose of big city grandeur. you know, the kind of meaty inner city grandeur that only the big, big cities can possibly project. to see Calgary out grandeur many such cities is pleasing indeed.

this was a revealing angle with lots of opportunity for us to use our imagination when observing the pictures taken form here. for example, the far upper left is my favorite part of the image. i find this angle is easy to squint with your minds eye and see a more mature and larger urban setting. this is a realistic illusion, and with the use of our imagination, you could be portraying a skyline and dense inner city much bigger than it truly is.

all this without any need at all, to add to the to the scene. because what is already there is enough to do all of the big city magic. so,,,truly this is a magic picture, a picture taken from what is most certainly a magic location.

Thanks. I went from a Tacoma to this. It's like driving a 5 door go-cart.

Ramsay, that shot is full of awesomeness!

My (female) best friend/roommate is joining the Mazdaspeed club in a few weeks with a twin of your ride.
(photos to follow in a few weeks upon delivery of her new wheels). Maybe you two can start your own Mazdaspeed 3 Calgary club

Thanks. Are you saying that I bought a woman's car?

Do you think she'd be open to starting a gang instead of a club? Gang's are not only cool but they get to wear patches on their jackets.

LOL no. She's a car gal! She used to own/rebuild early 80's RX-7's with one of her Exes back in her Edmonton days. She once went on a couple of dates with a guy who's downfall among other things was that he told her that he bought his car (Audi A4 I believe) because of the LED headlights.

yeah she'd probably be all about the Mazdaspeed Gang She can put a pretty face on all your nefarious tire shredding activities

Hope she punched him right in the baby maker. Tell her if she's interested in the Speed Gang, I've been working on some gang hand signs.
