The first interviewee said it best:
Best thing about Vancouver: Weather
Worst thing about Vancouver: Weather

What makes me laugh is that they tried to go for exaggerations but actually hit the nail on the head. Half a million for a house that is clearly beside higher density development IS a bargin. Buy the sucker, knock it down, put up some condos and walk away a millionaire. Anyone who would buy a $4.888M house on Granville Street is an idiot, and $300K for a large studio (I've been in that building) in a trendy area with amazing views really is a pretty good deal in this city.

Reminds me of a line I kept in mind growing up in Van-City...

Exactly, Vancouver is so expensive. Winnipeg is a much better city: it's downtown may be dead and unsafe, most of the city is incredibly ugly and you need a car to live there, but it is much more affordable than Vancouver - which means it's better.

Or you mean the only thing that Winnipeg is better over Vancouver is affordability. Otherwise, Vancouver is better in most other things.

The city is going down the same road as Hong Kong and San Francisco with regards to housing.

Oh, sweet jeebus, I hope you're being sarcastic. Otherwise, either cut the meds or increase the dose, 'cause your current dosage is melting your faculties.

Yeah, not bad.

I guess I'm biased but I have a feelin' that the Museum of Broadcasting won't be calling for a tape of the show.

That 300k loft looked awesome. I'd willingly fork over the asking price.
