Exclamation State of the Vancouver Forum

Well minions, it has been more than half a year since Local Vancouver was first created and I'd like to know what you guys think of it so far, and how we can improve. Since then, we've added the new 2010 Olympic forum and we have also worked towards tidying up this forum so that it looks clean and uniform (e.g. topic titles standardized and development topic titles with their own convention).

It's ok...I would like to see more topics listed at the top of the forum, as I hardly ever look at subforums anymore.

I think it's great dividing it up. Makes life much easier.

It would be good to choose the number of new threads that are shown on the top.

It would have worked out better if they'd followed through on their ambitious plan to make it a well promoted all-round community forum.

Still not a big fan of this setup, but admittedly the "Latest Active Threads" section made it a whole lot more palatable.

Not a big fan of having the sub-forums, but the latest active threads really helps.

the 'latest active threads' at the top is great, but it would be even better if the time of last update was included beside those threads.

i agree with bils. and with everyone else.

TOO many subforums. I never click in them anymore and on a heavy post day I find I miss updated topics.

One of the outcomes of an SSP:L is more diverse topics and more discussions taking place, so the amount of information posted is greater than under a traditional forum setup.
