YIMBY election in Boulder?

Today I learned about Eric Budd, an avowed YIMBY running for Boulder city council.

In addition, apparently there's a sort of slate of housing moderates, including Bill Rigler, Jan Burton, Jill Grano and Mark McIntyre.

I didn't know about all this, but it seems like an interesting election to watch.

Meanwhile, Ed Sealover, DBJ has a NIMBY v YIMBY piece with respect to metro Denver results. Essentially, other than for Greenwood Village (who cares) it was mostly a non-event. While the NYMBY's apparently prevailed in Lakewood, the strategy will change from no (or little) growth to more managed via zoning growth. Meanwhile Westminster is full speed ahead with their urban renewal plans. Wheatridge wants to increase urban renewal for the purpose of creating more economic vitality by attracting more businesses.
