The 2nd to last photo posted, from that angle it looks great and will complement the skyline nicely, with ritz on the opposite end, kind of like a book-end effect.

Regarding the photo from Picturenarrative, where is that taken from? Is it someplace publicly accessible, like a bar or restaurant, or a private residence? And what's the building going up in the foreground (bottom left)?
the building going up in the bottom left is Victory Condos.

www.victorycondos.ca

don't know where the photo was taken from....

maybe an office building on Bathurst and King...

700 King???

I just hope that nasty muddy dark green glass won't conceal the cool steel frame of the onion dome. It would quite cool if it were covered in a lighter, more transparent glass and then lit up at night.

Is it just me or has glass already been installed on the curved top of the onion dome?
I noticed this as I was waling by the future Pace condo site. It looks to be a smoky-metallic color.

They are installing the top of the onion dome. But it's not glass, it's metal.

From every shot I took starting from the Bloor Viaduct, Riverdale and along Queen St from River St, none show the spire taller than the Scotiabank Plaza.

In my shots from Humber Bay, you could see the height different, yet for some reason you cannot see it from the east.

You can see the workers working in the dome and are like ants to the size of the dome. There was a lot of steel missing at the top.

I noticed a lot of steel sections for the dome had been cut off the original section for some reason and sitting in the loading area at street level. Looks like changes had taken place for these sections to be cut off or a mistake in the detailing and fabrication.

You can find the other photos not here under Trump Tower on Flickr.

Euch.

Would look much better in Vancouver or even Calgary...

That said, the numerous design changes turned this into an uninspired mess.

A turd clad in green glass is still a turd.

Once all the facade is installed it will look a million times better, plus we technically haven't seen the finished product yet, so yes it still kinda does look like a mess. IMHO, I have good prospects for the finished product...

I saw the building in person this weekend, and that steel work on the dome is impressive. Looks very intricate. Not saying that I like the entire project, but it's not everyday we see such an interesting component on construction. Let's see how that dome turns out when clad.

Anyone else liking the subtle slant of the upper floors (glass section) from the view looking west along Adelaide?
It's too bad the unfinished looking parking podium wall steals the show.
