hôtel Waldorf-Astoria 2011

Un premier hôtel Waldorf-Astoria ouvrira ses portes au Canada en 2011

La Presse Canadienne

MONTREAL _ La chaîne hôtelière Hilton ouvrira un établissement de sa bannière de luxe Waldorf-Astoria Collection à Montréal en 2011, un investissement de 200 millions $ US.

Hilton Hotels Corporation s'est associée dans ce projet avec l'entreprise immobilière montréalaise Investissements Monit.

L'hôtel aura 32 étages et comprendra 250 chambres et 76 résidences, de même que 15 000 pieds carrés d'espaces de bal et de réunion, de restauration, de détente et d'exercice.

Il s'agira du premier établissement de la bannière Waldorf-Astoria au Canada.

Le Waldorf-Astoria Montréal sera situé au 1500, rue Sherbrooke Ouest, près de la rue Guy.

C'est une bonne nouvelle mais celle-çi n'est pas confirmé sur le site de la chaîne. Du moins, j'ai eu beau chercher, je n'ai rien trouvé.

c'est bizarre, dans la note sur yahoo, ce vieux rendu mort et enterré...

et je savais pas que Waldorf-Astoria était une bannière. je connaissais juste le gros mammouth art déco à NY.

I'd like here to pinpoint that the rendering is from another project on the same site from few years ago. It's too early to tell if Waldorf-Astoria will accept this design as it is or will come with a totally different design.

Wow... we really dodged a bullet with our Waldorf=Astoria - gorgeous, glassy modern, design, and it's a supertall.

This one isn't bad, though - it's an interesting design, and it relates well to the historic building in front of it. It's obviously inspired by the Waldorf's original building in NYC, but it also looks like a doublemint version of One Atlantic Center in Atlanta.

don't worry, the design here is an old design for a totally different project altogether. I guarantee the design will change.

A 2nd new proposal for MTL....has been a very long time ago.

I like it as well. I have always liked Montreal for the mix of architecture.
