Is this space ever going to be completed?

I've finally returned to Vancouver again after two months, and yes it is open, but it looks in a worse state from mcminsen's photos nearly 3 weeks ago. I was reserving Judgment of that bus shelter, but I have to say it is truly awful.

Walking along Howe there was quite a nice cedar scent from the benches.

About ten and a half weeks since my last update and... they're still working on it.

Still not a fan of the white bus stop or whatever that is supposed to be, but I saw it in the evening a couple weeks ago and it was lit up with some animation and it didn't look too bad. Should've snapped a video.

It's a bus shelter. It should have been a cafe or a food stand.

Vancouver doesn't know how to do public spaces yet.

Vancouver construction schedules appear to be 12x longer than anywhere else in the world. Must be all that rain.

Agreed. A New York style newsstand or something.

You should come see Montreal if you think Vancouver construction schedules are slow.

The bus shelter thing is weird for sure. Still choked that they removed the cherry trees and the corny of Georgia & Hornby.
