Original C-Train Line Construction Photos

I've been crawling through the Glenbow and CPL archives all morning trying to find photos from spots along the original C-Train line pre-construction and during construction, and I've come up pretty much empty. Specifically, I'm looking for photos of 7th avenue, downtown west, and into the Sunnyside/north line area before construction and while it was being built. Does anyone have photos like these, or know where I could find them?

(And if this is more appropriate for the photos/videos section, my bad. Just thought it was more relevant here, perhaps.)

Have you tried here?
http://www.albertaonrecord.ca/search?query=lrt&repos=
Clicking on photos will give you a bit more information, perhaps more spots to look...

Unfortunately, looks like this is the only one of the NW line:

That's a great resource though. I could get lost for hours in searching it.

There's a photo around, I think I saw it on Flickr, of the line on 7th Ave under construction by the library. Can't find it now though...

^ That would be super cool to find. I'll do some digging.

Ideally, I'm looking for photos along 9th street SW, where the street and LRT do a bit of a wiggle because they were built around pre-existing buildings. I'd love to see what it looked like before (I know – just straight, but I haven't seen it that way).

Not at ground level, but here is an aerial view, if that is any help. from 1949.

It's crazy how quickly downtown went from low to high density...

Also interesting how the low rise residential/medium rise downtown switched so that the old downtown/Stephen Ave is now the lower rise portion, with the sfh being the high rises.

Here's a 1980 Construction photo - doesn't show much of the system though..... Wonder if they still think it's a mistake.

Those aerials show how much our pathway system has changed. The seventies were red shale everything!

Also a classic case of "Haters gonna hate". No matter what someone does in this life there will always been stupid, jealous and backwards trolls LITERALLY sitting on the sidelines waiting for you to fail. These people are called losers and pay them no mind...
