Odd... I'm on a streak. I've won about 6 out of my last 7 coffees. I've got a stack of 3 freebies on my desk. Haven't paid for a coffee in 3 days. Wierd.

You won't win a Civic with McDonald's coffee this week, but at least your coffee will be free and also you'll always win the next free coffee.

Plus, if you drink enough of it while it's free, you'll have built up plenty of these little cards of stickers, so it will continue to be free for a while beyond the free week.

You know, I haven't even been able to try. The lines at my local Tims get so nuts during RUTRTW that I just go elsewhere instead... I swear there are people who only go to Tims during this promotion, or they double their intake. There is a noticeable difference.

My beef with roll up the rim is with the hypocrisy of redeeming prizes at either counter or drive through. I won a free donut yesterday and today when I claimed my prize the counter clerks didn't want to take the cup. Instead they demanded I rip off the winning tab because they cannot take garbage at the counter or drive through window. However isn't the rim the worst/dirtiest part of the cup?

Once i have ripped up the cup I hand the dirty tab to the bare hand of the cashier clerk. The clerk then handles the tab with both hands for confirmation of the prize. Once confirmed the tab is put into the garbage.

Their reasoning of health and safety makes absolutely no sense.

McDonalds has coffee for $1, any size during roll up the rim. I'm lucky in that the McD's and Tims are side by side, so I can easily judge the line length.

I'm 0/9 so far this year. Several coworkers also have won nothing thus far.

Someone I know claims her husband won an apple juice.

0/0. Haven't drunk this sorry excuse for coffee in months. In fact, I don't even recall the last time I stepped into a Tim Horton's.

^It's been about 2 years for me. Toronto's Tim Hortons resemble homeless shelters.

Never drink Tims either. With so many awesome local cafes in my city I'd feel guilty if I drank the Tims garbage.

I'm one of them, I hardly go to Tim's but this promotion incites me to go.

This time of year, the drive thru lines are so bad they can spill onto main roads and cause traffic congestion, at least in my city during the morning rush.
