The photo was taken from the rear parking lot. The front is complete covered in scaffolding.
No no brick. The brown cladding is original.This was drywall and very little insulation. They are re-cladding do to the failure of the envelope over the years. As they are doing this they are updating the perimeter rooms on each floor. This was a project that was hovering around for about 10 years then got the go ahead just before the fires.
They are also building a heliport just to the lower left in the photos. That construction is just starting.
In the past the amount of moisture leaking out of the buildings would create ice bombs in the fascia on extreme cold days. They updated the ER 2 years ago, added new procedure suites and DI suites.
