September 2005, from the Pacific Hotel in the Hongkou district. Views of the Norh Bund and Lujiazui ex shipping yard areas. Nice shots.

What's the building under construction just to the left of HSBC Tower?

it's not a new one, this midrise from the mid 90s is under reconstruction (a bit more than a mere recladding it seems...)

South Bund redevelopment

May 21th 2006, from an hotel next to Foster's tower. Whole blocks been demolished there. No doubt, a major redevelopment has been planned.

North Bund redevelopment

May 21th 2006, from the oriental Pearl. A quite advanced building yard (underground floors) next to the small area of the park has already been completed.

Works on a midrise by the North Bund bank too. As it was there before this must be a recladding/reconstruction. No signs of activities on the former Lujiazui shipyard area. First phase of the works is supposed to begin in the second half of 2006.

Rendering discovered by the regretted Giallo on the plot :

A pic by Staff, the BeiWaiTan redevelopment has begun. No rendering for these constructions.
