I like that they number the floors for all to see. makes it easy to see they are working on the 27th floor.

GREAT UPDATES.

Do you think the roof collapse today in Moscow will slow down construction?

Wasn't the roof collapse on a market? From my experience in other european cities, the markets are usually just thrown together, and probably not really constructed to any kind of a code, and are put up by the people that run the market. I would say its a completely different situation.

Coth, you constantly post some of the best supertall pics (AND information) on the web. Thank you very much for your efforts.

Are you going to start visiting the Russia Tower site as well?

BTW, is FT considered to be one building or two?

It's not different site. It will be between FederationTower and Northern Tower (on right of oleg's photo).

FT is two towers on one podium. Spire is also considering as tower C.

Is that a facade test I see in that last pic?

30!!! That's half way!

I'm really looking forward to see the second tower start to rise and to see them put that spire up in the middle. I wonder how long that thing will take?

Coth,

A couple questions:

1. In the render highlighted in red, there seems to be the part of the building that goes inside the structure (recessed). I don't see it being made into the frame structure in the pic you just posted. I am assuming that the podium shown is for tower C, so this is the correct side. I am sure you posted pics of all 3 sides of the building, but all sides are smooth with no recess. Did they change plans and decide to make it smooth all around? The render shows walkways inside the recess.

2. The green box shows an opening. Is this the walkway or mount to tower C?

Thanks again for posting these shots of this beutiful skyscraper.

some things where improved from this rendering. no stone in podium. plus glass color still unknown.

facing should begin soon. 4 levels tall chinese glass panels will be installed from level 11 and upper.
