Look forward to see this come up... The area around gateway is going to be pretty impressive. However I am a bit disapointed they are currently building 3 lowrise condos on land that should have towers being built on.

That was originally planed to be all towers back in the 90's. the original plans were for at the very least 5 office towers and 7 residential towers(only four ever got built with the one office tower and three residential towers). there was no market for residential towers a few years ago in the area and they decided to change it to low rises instead of towers(dont ask me why). the good thing is that the rest of the empty land on the other side of the guideway is still proposed to have towers(i think there are 4 or 5 residential towers proposed reaching up to 39 stories).

anyways to bad the original plans never materialized as they were planed to with the coming of the skytrain.

sold out?

I know citypoint sold a lot of units in both towers when it launched, but does anyone know if any or both of the two towers has been sold out yet?

The website doesn't indicate either one has been.

Thanks.

That is a huge pit for just 2 towers. Compare that to the pit for Vita & Dolce.

Farther spacing between towers (i.e. more suburban)

Coming along. The foundation is always the slowest hehe. Should this thread be adjusted from Proposed to U/C though since it is under construction?

I don't have any pictures right now, but they are making good progress on these towers. The first one is up to about the 8th floor maybe, and the second one is up to about the 3rd floor. Unfortunately my cell phone camera sucks and I don't bring a camera to class. I will try to take some area photos sometime next week for some visual updates (so long as the fog goes).

Yeah. Between CityPoint and D'corize, those towers left Ininity behind in the dust (even when Infinity had money).
