Drove by yesterday evening, they're working on the third floor now. You can feel the presence this structure will have already.

Based on your photos, I'd say that it was starting to snow, or at least trying to...were they taken on Friday?

It looks like they are raising the crane on this project today, the same as the Merritt.

Received notice, new tentative occupancy is February 2014. Roof will go in summer 2013.

Thanks Lloyd!
I drove by this site yesterday along Melcafe and found that the west structure had a pretty big setback... not sure if it's only me but it looks somehow isolated from the street

isn't that setback going to rise as a podium with the Sobey's in it?

Strange, the excavation for this one seemed huge, but so far, the building(s) don't seem that big. Guess that will change, as they get the whole podium section finished, and the towers start taking off.

Oh yeah, it's awesome to see this project this far above grade now! It will be taller than the parking garage across the street from it in no time.

It's gonna dramatically change a few key viewpoints of our skyline including the 417 coming West toward downtown, Mackenzie King, and U of O. Can't wait to see these at 20+.

yeah i think the main floor of the built part is just a portion of the podium that will contain the sobeys and probably end up covering the whole site. am i wrong?

It appears that they are going to be raising the cranes for this site this week...I'm guessing that both towers are around 10 floors up or more by now?
