Correct me if I'm wrong but Cal is a home builder and not a developer. It was something Nenshi actually clarified in one of his interviews.

Yeah - really odd. Wonder if next door was a grow-op situation, though perhaps that wouldn't make sense either, as my understanding is that they generally keep really low profile.

My buddy's sister knows this guy. They are both from Glace Bay, NS.

It's a very small world here.

Sounds more like an alcohol-induced altercation that led to an 'accidental' death - suspect is charged with 2nd degree currently. Wouldn't surprise me if it was a fairly minor disagreement that turned into a fight thanks to the booze.

You guys feel like growing up some time soon and not following each other around and calling one another out in every thread in this section? It's embarrassing.

Teen found severely emaciated in northwest home

Calgary Sun

First posted: Wednesday, May 08, 2013 07:54 AM MDT | Updated: Thursday, May 09, 2013 07:21 AM MDT

Homicide detectives are investigating the disturbing discovery of an extremely emaciated youth in a Citadel home.

The emergency call came just after 10 p.m. Tuesday to the Citadel Dr. N.W. bungalow for reports of a deceased youth, police said.

An autopsy was set for Wednesday, police saying no details would be available until after it is completed.

Sources said the state of the child’s extremely emaciated body was shocking and upsetting.

It is unknown whether immediate calls for assistance for the child were made.

EMS spokesman Stuart Brideaux said the teen could not be revived once paramedics arrived.

The teen, who is believed to be 15, is said to have lived in the home with his parents and several siblings, some of whom are adults.
