Well I picked up the phone and called them.

The hotel is closed. The bar will remain open for two more months.

I know! I couldn't believe I did it. However, I did use www.mysask.com to find the phone number. Down with phone books!

There is a full page ad in Saturday's LP (Sec. AA - last page) with a new rendering that looks absolutely amazing.

And the rumours were true, it's now going to be 25 stories with prices ranging from $199,000 to over a million.

Ya, you can't just say that and not provide an image! It's just plain rude!

I'll see if I can scan it.

I'd love to buy a unit but I've got another three years of school to contend with first. Doing some quick math, I'd likely be able to afford $250-300,000 out of school. I'm curious to know how many units there are in that price range, as I'm sure they'll go that much quicker than a $1 million+ unit. I'm quite certain they'll be the smaller units (1, maybe 2 beds) on lower levels. It would be great to be able to buy one soon as the sooner you purchase, the more control you will have over the finished product. Unfortunately I don't think they'll allow me to buy now based on the assumption that I will indeed graduate and find a job!

And a new name, Capital Pointe... but the website mentioned just forwards to the old reginalandmark.com website.

Looks stunning. Looks like they've also decided to shorten the hotel portion. Either way it looks amazing.

Damn $200,000 range... I think I might have to contact them and get some more details on the different units in that range... Between this tidbit of info and the rendering, it looks pretty exciting.

I don't think they've actually shortened it, just re-configured it and with the added height to the condo portion it looks shorter. I kinda tried to count with the actualy ad and it looks like 7-8 storeys.

Looks great! I also prefer the new name a lot more than Westgate Plaza.
