[Surrey] Gateway Station Office Park | 5-towers | Proposed

[Original post - major updates since then]

Source

"Phase I of this 5 phase, 600,000 sq. ft. office park is scheduled for completion in early 2010 and will represent the cutting edge in sustainable and responsible design certified to a LEED Gold standard. The varying sizes of floor plates that will be found within the business park will cater to businesses large and small offering long term growth opportunity.

"Located immediately adjacent to the Gateway SkyTrain terminal and to the existing Station Tower, in the heart of Surrey’s city centre, the Gateway Office Park will boast a central Lower Mainland location and transportation access that only a select few office locations in the Metro Vancouver can. The spectacular views and tranquil campus setting, complete with waterfall, solidifies Gateway Office Park has the most significant new development in the Greater Vancouver Regional District."

Well sort of.

The total office square footage of this project will still be 600 000sf buuuuut....

They have added two residential towers as well, which forced them to put the misplaced office space into a taller office tower. Now dont get too excited, it will only be slightly taller than the tower which is already there, but still this is a pleasant surprise. The development now looks somehting like this:

Building A: 30 floor residential @ 230,000sf

Building B: 24 floor residential @ 170,000sf

Building C: 9 floor Office @ 150,000sf

Building D: 3 floor Office @ 36,000sf

Building E: 21 floor office @ 314,000sf

And as an added bonus... renders!
